Keith Taylor and Terry Alabaster ran in the national cross country champs which this year were held beside the racetrack at Donnington Park.

The course was 3 testing laps as befits the highest quality cross country race there is in the country. In Terry’s words ‘We finished way down the list as usual’!. Out of 1730 finishers Terry was 1442, and Keith was 1482.

Terry reports that they both ran fairly strong races and their positions show the depth of the quality of the runners there.

Elseswhere, Bill Smythe travelled up to Cambridge for a half marathon and reaffirmed his unofficial title of PB Bill by setting another new best of 1h34m33s. Great effort.

Well done gents.
