Cross Country – Top of the league!!

Cross Country martynb writes “What a performance from our runners today with the men for once taking the honours with 4 in the first 30!

It was good to see Mark Finbow returning from injury and although not 100% he still led us home in 15th. Pete Riley (20) and Chris Martin (21) remain as close off road as on and making his 53-12 debut Heydon Mizon ran an excellent 29th to close the scoring.

Further down there were excellent runs from Crispy (35), Trev making a rare excursion over mud in 57th and new man Steve Watson home in a brilliant 75th.

For the ladies Liz and Captain Walls closed in 17th and 28th respectively and were well supported by Donna, Colleen, Claire and Rachel.

With both teams heading their Leagues it was obvious that wewill be heading to Harwich in 2 weeks as League Leaders.

Well done to everyone a great team effort.
