53-12 XC fixture dates 2017/2018

With the recent warm weather it is hard to turn the mind to the time of the year when the ground is soft, your fingers freeze on the start line, and you have to clean your shoes after a race.  But the warm weather won’t last for ever and winter will be coming!

The clubs making up the 53-12 cross county league met for the league AGM last week, and agreed the fixtures for the forthcoming season. Here they are:

29^th October – Springfield

5^th November – Harwich

26^th November – Colchester

14th January – Ipswich (changed from 21st)

18^th February – Hadleigh

11th March – Halstead (rescheduled from December)

You may wish to make a note of these dates in your diaries, as naturally we want to build on the incredible season we had last year.

The league also agreed to change the number of scorers required in each pool. Pool A will continue to have 8 men and 4 ladies scoring. In Pool B, there will now be six men and three ladies scoring.
