WRC Trail Run – Sunday 1st July, Little Baddow
25 June 2018 - By James Blackshaw
The 3rd in this year’s series of trail runs will take place in Little Baddow, this Sunday at 9:00am.
The run will start and finish near to Papermill Lock (great for an ice-cream or cold drink afterwards), and we’ve been given permission to park in the bigger car park at the lock (thanks to James Crisp and the owners of the Lock.) Look for me standing outside and I’ll let you in.
It is a 10 mile route through the footpaths and lanes around Little Baddow and Danbury, and really encapsulates what trail running is all about. It is a little undulating in places, and if this balmy weather continues it could be warm, so please bring a drink.
I can provide a gpx file if anyone wants it, but because of the wiggly nature of the route we will try to stick as one group, and at a leisurely pace.
See y’all there!

Can you send me the gpx please James.
Me too please, I’d like to see if I can gauge its suitability for bringing the dog, assuming it’s not stupidly hot!
Can you send me the gpx too please James. I am undecided as I am an ambler and in no hurry, so may do this on my own another time. I did a 10 miler last Sunday and averaged around 11.30 to 12.30 pace which is deathly slow for you lot to wait for me.
Hi Sylvia, I’ve sent you the GPX via FB messenger, let me know if your have any problems.
Sylvia, I’ll be at a very similar pace and was planning to plod around on my own
can i also have a copy of the gpx file mate, im probally going to run to the start from home so may need the route if im a little late! email is mrjj321@hotmail.com
I’ve updated the gpx file for this, but don’t worry too much if you’ve already downloaded the previous one.
