As the coaching team take a festive break, we are rolling out an old favourite for you to run, should you wish, next week – 60/60 intervals.

The session is easy to programme or remember and you could adapt it to run between lampposts, for example.

15 sets of:

  • 60 seconds hard running (5k pace or faster)
  • 60 seconds rest (we recommend a walk rather than jog so you can hit your paces in the hard 60 seconds).

You can choose how easy, hard, interesting or challenging you want to make the session.
