Times from Thursday 5k

Well done all in our 5k last night and a big thanks to our marshals Mark, Tracey, Tony & Brigid.

A still, quiet and mild night for running but with the festive season in full swing this no doubt took the edge of some performances but nevertheless a great pacy run for all especially with not much race action in recent weeks.

There were brilliant 5k PBs for 3 of our ladies – Sasha Rush knocking minutes of her previous best and capping off a week when she easily moved up a Tuesday night pace group, Karen Flowers and Christine Wager both also recording PBs. David Church made his WRC race debut to finish 2nd and James Montgomery was pleased with his storming run. All our runners finished within 29 minutes so there could be some more moving up in the Tuesday night pace groups??
