Times are a changing!

I remember it well at the Club Dinner in 2013, no it wasn’t DJ buying a round, a long standing member coming up to me and saying wouldn’t it be nice to celebrate our 30th year by fielding 50 runners in a local race.

We thought hard but alas struggled to think of anywhere near 50 members that raced regular and the idea was forgotten as quickly as The Chairman’s Speech.

However wind forward nearly 5 years and there is a race not being run until April 2018 that already has 51 Witham Running Club members entered.

Yes times are a changing….and that race ? …………the Bromley 10k which ironically wasn’t around in 2013.
