Thursday Session 25/4 – 60/60s

We’re at Eastways again this week, meet 7.30pm please. Unfortunately the weather forecast puts a few hurdles in our way and we can’t make that switch to Witham Park but the good news is we probably won’t be back at Eastways again until September.

The session kicks off our summer “run a faster 5k” themed schedule which takes in those 4x 5ks coming up in The John Roberts series and of course The Ekiden Relays by when we’ll have everyone running like I don’t know what.

The short focussed efforts should be a good introduction to our summer schedule and especially so for those coming back from recent spring marathons and long training  plans – those still recovering from London at the weekend may want to sit this one out or take it very easy – please?

With your own prior warm up, drills, session main part of 30 minutes plus stretches/cool down, your total activity time should be around 50/60 minutes.

Pacing, recoveries, technical points, H&S and all other information will be available on Thursday.

Meet 7.30pm  please, warmed up and ready to start.
