Saturday Cycling 19/12 – The Blue Egg, Great Bardfield

Its back on road bikes for this Saturday 19/12 after our successful away day from the usual black stuff last week at Thetford Forest – many thank to Tony Wallen for coordinating.

So Blue Egg, Great Bardfield then for our last Saturday peloton blast before the holiday period, a favourite destination for many and with nothing else on it could be a big peloton, no doubt with a breakaway and some poursuivants ahead of the peloton and grupetto for the drag race into Great Bardfield where we could even beat our PB arrival time of 10.38? To Blue Egg then around 10.50 where we can meet up with any later starters or shorter route spinners.

Please let’s aim to get away from Morrisons 0905, exit Witham via Chipping Hill, Powers Hall, Terling, Fuller Street, Great Leighs, Felsted, old A120, edge of Dunmow, back to Bran and the run in to Great Bardfield. It’s about 18/20 back from there so if we get away 1130ish should have you back in the environs by 1ish.
