Pub runs – Littley Green

3 May 2017 - By Stewart Waller

Aren’t modern communications wonderful? Thanks to the prompt efforts of the chairman and our webmaster in notifying everyone the (very) late change of venue on Tuesday didn’t seem to affect numbers. There was, once again, a pleasing turnout with, this time, no problems that I am aware of and everyone getting back before dark.

Thanks go also to Jos Ridley and staff at the excellent Littley Green Compasses for accommodating us at such short notice (about 3 hours!) despite a car club also being there.

This was necessitated because of another function taking place at the Green Dragon which I was unaware of until the 23rd hour. My apologies for this and to anyone who may have turned up at the GD feeling a bit lonely.

We will be back at The Compasses for our scheduled visit on the 30th May but in the meantime next Tuesday we are going somewhere new to us – The Prince of Wales at Great Totham (CM9 8PX).

See you there
Stew
