Pub runs – The Green Dragon

Thanks to Colsey for keeping me posted about last Tuesdays run from the Green Dragon. Apparently over 30 members stayed on for food. This has always been a popular venue and the ideal conditions resulted in a good turnout.

I suppose many of the pubs we visit are popular otherwise we wouldn’t use them but one of the best is my ‘local’ The Willows in Cressing village which, next Tuesday, will host the final summer pub run. Now be prepared for it getting dark before your run is finished and as Graham has already mentioned below, it’s that time of year to rake out the hi-viz so no excuses. If you haven’t got one then see Theresa our kit officer who will be only too happy to supply you.

In the past we have had one or two parking issues in The Street. It’s perfectly ok to park there but please ensure local residents are not inconvenienced. Car share as usual if possible.

Finally I expect the chairman will want to get the groups away as quickly as possible so don’t be late!
