Pub runs are back!
24 April 2017 - By Marc Underdown
After nearly eight months of running around Witham, the advent of longer days means the pub runs are back! We start at the Willows in Cressing. Due to the light still being limited, I will start announcements five minutes earlier at 7:30, so we can get away sharply.
Those who know the pub will know that the car park is not large. We strongly encourage you to car share if possible, and please park responsibly as we don’t want to upset the local residents. I would ask that you try and avoid parking across the path next to the road between the junction with Polecat Rd and the junction with Button Lane (by the car yard). A little further towards the church there is scope for more parking.
Please remember to order your food before the run if you’re staying behind afterwards. Hopefully many of you will stay as the pub runs are a great way to socialise with other members of the club.
Hopefully the weather will be kind to us over the next four months!
