November CMOTM

November’s CMOTM is Lysia Jiggins.  Lysia trained consistently through the summer and into the autumn to prepare for her first ultra-marathon, the remembrance Hare and Tortoise event in Brightlingsea.  Her hard work paid off with her completing 33miles and finishing as 2nd lady. A truly awesome and inspirational feat!

It was another month for great nominations, with the following members also in the running:

Peter Coates – For his fantastic runs at the first 2 x-country races of the season where he finished in 5th place at Springfield and 1st place overall at Gosfield.

Paul Jiggins – For completing his furthest distance of just under 20 Miles at the Remembrance Day Run.

Clarice Sanderson – For running a marathon at the Remembrance Day Run.

Leo Cole – For his strong performances this month in the Stebbing 10 miles and Chelmsford 10k which earned him second place in his age category in the 2021 County Road Champs.

Andrew Watson – For his PB and Gold Standard at the Chelmsford 10k.

Gerry Greenwold – For his amazing form of late and another PB in his half marathon.
