JR Summer 5k Results – Race 3 – 22.06.17

Firstly, apologies for the delay in getting these results posted up. Friday and the weekend turned out to be quite manic after the missus gave me the green light to head up to bonnie Scotland last minute in order to attend what seems likely to be The Stone Roses’ last gig. Anyway, enough of talk of standing in a field with a load of has-beens reminiscing about the past (Ekiden is next month by the way, make sure you sign up – not sure what could have reminded me about that!!). On to the results!
Another batch of strong results, with PBs posted by David Hunt finally breaking the 18 minute mark and a great PB from Paul English, who is looking like he may give the handicap committee a few headaches working out his handicap start time in July!
Our only junior running was Jamie Thrupp, turned on the afterburners at the end to drop Steve Hennings and post a decent 22:34.
