Howard Williams Trophy

It’s that time of year when you, the runners, vote for the race you think was the best organised race in 2016 within the county of Essex.

Current holders of the trophy are Springfield Striders for the Pleshey half marathon.

The race must be completely on road and you need to consider the nuts and bolts of an efficiently organised race ie parking, changing facilities, signage, marshalling, results service, presentation.

Have a think about it and let me know, either by email or by word of mouth. Alternatively, you can send via the Vice Chairman using the contact us page. Please do not put your choice on the website or on facebook as it is supposed to be a secret ballot and a surprise for the winners! I will ensure the top three choices are given to the Essex Endurance committee.

Just one point to note, we cannot vote for our own races 😞.
