Howard Williams Trophy 2017

As I previously mentioned, it is time to start working out who as a club we want to vote for to win the Howard Williams Trophy in 2017. This is a trophy awarded by the Essex County Athletic Association to the race which is voted as being the best organised in the year, within the county of Essex. Last year it was won by Grange Farm & Dunmow for the Stebbing 10 mile race.

The race must be a road race and when voting we are encouraged to consider the nuts and bolts of an efficiently organised race i.e. parking, changing facilities, signage, marshalling, results service, presentations, etc.

We must submit one voting slip to the country, where we can nominate our top 3 races in order of preference. We are allowed to vote for our own races if they are in our top 3.

We naturally want to get your views on your top three (in order of preference) and we will then aggregate the feedback to work out the three races we will put forward.
