February’s Club Member of the month has been awarded to Nicola Digby! This is for getting a 5k and 10k PB at the London Winter 10k. An amazing effort. It has also been awarded for her club contributions of cake baking and baby sitting at so many XC races. Congratulations, Nicola!

Our other nominees for February were these wonderful stars:

• James Attenborough – For pushing through the pain barrier and always giving his all at races, even if it ends in dramatic effect such as Great Bentley Half Marathon.
• Michael Conroy – For his PB at the Great Bentley Half Marathon and his continued dedication to his marathon training. He is the most thoughtful member ever. He has nothing but good things to say in person and on social media.
• Annalise Tye – In recent months Annalise has demonstrated determination in pursuing her running ambition, not only achieving personal records such as her recent performance at the Tapley 20 and at the Great Bentley Half Marathon, but also generously supporting her fellow runners. Her efforts epitomise both personal excellence and altruism, making her a standout athlete and teammate.
• Terry Alabaster – For his achievements on his trail races and great performance, where he progressed in finishing positions from 9th to 5th to 2nd!
• Sian Tate – For her 15 minute pb at the Great Bentley Half Marathon.
• Owen Dare – for his PB and club record at the Great Bentley Half Marathon.
• Ross Silverton – Consistency of running races and club runs. Always friendly and encouraging.
