Essex Cross Country Championships – Saturday 6th January

As you are all aware we are hosting the Blue Riband event of the Essex Cross Country season at The  Discovery Centre, Great Notley on Saturday 6th January for the first time.

With 3 races and the County’s best runners entered it promises to be an exciting morning of racing.

However we cannot stage the event without an army of marshals and in this respect I am asking as many of you as possible to give up 4 hours on the day to assist please, that’s from 9am until 1pm.

You should have already received an e mail so if you have not already responded then please do so.

If you are unlikely to be in our top 6 scorers for the men or 4 for the ladies then I would ask that you prioritise marshalling please as there are plenty of other races, including 53 -12 that you can represent the club in.

I will contact all those volunteering nearer the date with full details.
