Cross Country Familiarisation & Training – Dates & Locations
7 October 2022 - By David Jobling
With the NESS Cross Country League just around the corner and about to kick off on Sunday 6 November, starting next weekend your WRC coaching team will be putting on cross country familiarisation and training sessions as proved popular last year.
These are suitable for all members, both newer members who may be new to cross country and existing members.
The sessions will all be on grass and off road surfaces so you can try out your existing or new footwear and practice off road running on different terrains at varying paces before the first race.
Members will be able to select covering say between 3M-5M via differing loops and segments we’ll be putting together similar to last year.
The sessions can be used as training sessions but are more to get used to running off road in trail shoes and spikes and at differing paces in advance of the first race.
Below are the times and locations with further specific details to come:
Your coaching team look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
