Attention NEW England Athletics Licence Holders !!

For those requesting a Race Licence who did not have one last year England Athletics will not allow you to enter races until the Club has paid its Affiliation Fee which only fell due on 1st April!

Whilst it  does not become overdue until 30th April this does seem a tad harsh. Those who held Licences last year are unaffected.

The Treasurer is sending funds tomorrow, as we need two signatures, so hopefully everyone will be ok by the weekend.

This is a new measure and is in line with the recent changes relating to non Licence holding athletes which also came in to force on 1st April and meant they are unable to win prizes in races run under UK Athletic rules which includes most road races.
