Annual General Meeting – Monday 26th Feb

Further to Kerry’s previous post, this is just a reminder that the club’s AGM will be held next Monday 26th February at 8pm at the Football Club. For those who are new to the club in the last year, the AGM is where we have to do the following:

• Deliver the Chairperson’s report
• Deliver the Treasurer’s report
• Elect the new committee members and club officials
• Agree any changes to our constitution.

For those of you who just like to turn up to go for a run, I understand why you might not want to come, or don’t think there is any point in you coming. However I strongly urge everyone to try and come along as ultimately the club is being run for the benefit of the members and this is the one opportunity in the year where we ask you to spend a little time just hearing about how we do that.

I hope that the meeting shouldn’t take much more than 45 minutes.

I look forward to seeing lots of you on Monday – I promise to try and make my speech interesting!
