Alton Water Round up 3rd Jan

We had a great turnout at Alton Water yesterday with 16 venturing up to run a mixture of one or two laps on the trail round the lake. Conditions were muddy in places and Colleen took up ‘skiing’ to negotiate the slides. It was good to see Paul Cole back after a while and Kerry starting to up her distance in preparation for London. We met quite a few runners going the opposite way round the lake along with some dogs taking their owners for walks.

We were lucky with the weather and all made it back to the café for a cuppa and gossip before the rain got too heavy.
