Advance warning(s)!

20 January 2016 - By Stewart Waller

Despite last nights sub-zero temperatures we had another great turnout for our regular Tuesday evening run. Not surprising, I suppose, with everyone now training in earnest for the many races that are coming up.

The scheduled 1st team football match did not materialise due to the pitch condition but I am assured that next Tuesdays game is likely to go ahead so, to avoid congestion, arrangements have been made for a pub run. This will be from The Oaklands Inn at Notley Green. The new management at the pub are keen to welcome us so lets hope that we have another high attendance.

For our newer members a pub run not only gives us the opportunity for a change of route but also allows us to mix socially after the run over a drink and/or meal.

Here is a view of the route (shorter and longer options will be available):

More details will follow later but in the meantime, please spread the word.

Whilst I have your attention a further reminder that the club’s AGM will be held on the 29th February at the FC commencing 8pm sharp! If you have any items for discussion or amendments to rules/constitution please let our secretary, Kerry Townsend, know before the 14th February together with the name of a seconder.

Thanks.

Hope to see you next week at The Oaklands.

Stew
