Last night was all about the Magnificent Seven and their supporters the Tremendous Ten!

On a perfect night for running for those who were Bourne Free, our magnificent seven runners were taken to Pasture by a Beth Shippey who took them through their drills.

Set on their way searching for a pot of gold by Timekeeper Colin Short and me, it wasn’t long until they came across our own Paddy Hinchliffe and Angela Read who helped our runners avoid the four leaf roots.

Turning left they were met by Danny Boy Griffiths whose pipes called them through onto Colchester Road.

Along they ran towards Kevin Slattery and Clarice Sanderson who jigged in delight as the runners went past them left down onto the Grove.

Across the roundabout guided by Beth Shippey and Kerry Townsend, I’m sure our runners felt like they well needed a Bar by this point! But alas they kept going to meet our final marshal DJ and back around for one more lap!
