Cross Country – 28/11/2021

We have now received the below information for the next XC race on November 28th!

Halstead are hosting the 2nd fixture this season in the NESS League on 28/11/21. The venue is at

Gosfield School
Cut Hedge Park
Halstead Road
Gosfield
CO9 1PF

The juniors will race at 10am followed by the seniors racing at 10.45am.

The junior course starts and finishes on the school field with the majority of the racing being in the woods and the same for the seniors but they get to take on some new challenges on private land beyond the woods.

We ask and encourage to car share as much as possible as parking is limited this year due to ongoing building work and we do not have use of the field to park on.

Limited toilets will be available in the main hall with others available in the pavilion by the car park.

There will also be a small area for changing in the main hall in the event of bad weather but ideally changing to be done outside by cars.

Unfortunately there is not going to be teas/coffees etc after the race this year. This is just to avoid large gatherings in a confined area and the chance of lots of people touching everything and causing a covid situation.
