After the last few months of snow, rain and cold, it's no wonder that Dave and Naomi Emerick decided to jet off to somewhere a bit warmer for a while (and South Africa sounded nice).
So Dave decided to get in a bit of racing while he was out there and successfully completed the Bonnievale Half Marathon in 25C heat. He picked up third prize in the Senior Masters category and even won some money!
