mediumt writes "Essex Roads Cycle Club are kicking off their sportive calendar with a 150k event on Sunday, 11th April.
This will be a fully signposted and electronically timed ride around the lanes and rolling hills of Essex, starting and finishing at Hannakins Farm in Billericay.
The £20 entry fee also includes two feed stations stocked with energy drinks, gels & bars plus homemade cakes, tea & coffee.
Mr Mills has assured me that Billericay is a lovely place to visit and not at all like is is portrayed on 'Gavin & Stacey'!
